Here you can see your contact details, manage your competencies and inductions, request a new competency or induction, or update your password for the Fieldworker app

Update your details

  • Tap on My Profile from the main menu, then tap My Details to see your personal details.
  • There are two ways to add a profile photo: Tap Camera to take a selfie now.Check the photo to make sure you’re happy with it. If not, tap Retake.If it’s good to go, tap Use Photo to add it to your profile.Tap Photo Library to choose an existing photo of yourself. Tap OK to allow Fieldworker to access your mobile device’s photo library (you’ll only need to do this once).If you change your mind, tap Don’t Allow.Tap on the photo to add it to your profile.
  • Tap one of your personal details to change it or select from a drop-down list.
  • Tap Save Details when you’re finished.
  • You will see a message confirming that your profile has been updated. Tap OK.
  • Your updated details will be emailed to the nominated HR email address for your company.

View competencies and inductions

  • Tap on My Profile from the main menu, then tap My Competencies to see a list of all your competencies and inductions.
  • Tap on a competency or induction to see details.
  • If the competency/induction has an attachment, tap Download File to open/save it using the relevant app on your mobile device.
  • Tap on the back arrow ‘<‘ in the top left to go back a step from any screen.

 Update a competency/induction

  • If one of your competencies/inductions needs updating, there are two ways to attach an updated image of a competency/induction: If you tap Camera it will open your camera so you can take a photo of the competency/induction now.If you tap Photo Library it will open your photo library so you can choose an existing photo of the competency/induction.
  • Tap Camera to take a photo of the competency/induction.
  • Check the photo to make sure all details are clear and in focus. If it’s blurry or incomplete, tap Retake.
  • If it’s good to go, tap Use Photo to add it to the competency/induction.

OR

  • Tap Photo Library to choose an existing photo of the competency/induction.
  • Tap OK to allow Fieldworker to access your mobile device’s photo library. You’ll only need to do this once.If you change your mind, tap Don’t Allow.
  • Tap on the photo to add it to the competency/induction.
  • Add the new expiry date.
  • You can add a Comment if you need to.
  • You can enter one or more email addresses (separated by comma) to send a notification of the updated competency/induction.
  • Tap Save to update the competency/induction with the new image and/or expiry date (if applicable).
  • When you see a message to confirm that the competency/induction has been updated. Tap OK.
  • Once the competency/induction has been approved, it will show up on your profile.
  • Tap on the back arrow ‘<‘ in the top left to go back a step from any screen.

Request New Competencies

If you have a new competency, this is where you can request for it to be added to your profile.

  • Tap on My Profile from the main menu, then tap Request New Competencies to open a Competency Request Form.
  • Select a competency from the list.
  • Add the expiry date.
  • You can add a Comment if you need to.
  • Tap on the back arrow ‘<‘ in the top left to go back a step from any screen.
  • There are two ways to attach an image of a competency (license/card): If you tap Camera it will open your camera so you can take a photo of the competency now.If you tap Photo Library it will open your photo library so you can choose an existing photo of the competency.
  • Tap Camera to take a photo of the competency.

Request New Induction

If you have a new induction, this is where you can request for it to be added to your profile.

  • Tap on My Profile from the main menu, then tap Request New Induction to open an Induction Request Form.
  • Select an induction from the list.
  • Add the expiry date (if applicable).
  • You can add a Comment if you need to.
  • Tap on the back arrow ‘<‘ in the top left to go back a step from any screen.
  • There are two ways to attach an image of an induction: If you tap Camera it will open your camera so you can take a photo of the induction now.If you tap Photo Library it will open your photo library so you can choose an existing photo of the induction.

My Password

Change your password

  • Tap on My Profile from the main menu, then tap My Password to change your password for the Fieldworker app.
  • Enter your old password and a new password, then enter the new password again to confirm. The new password must have a minimum of 6 characters.
  • Tap Update Password when you’re finished.
  • You will see a message confirming that your password has been updated. Tap OK.
  • Tap on the back arrow ‘<‘ in the top left to go back a step from any screen.
