You have different pay rules based on the hours worked. Keeping track of these rules are now easier than ever with Pay Rates in Assignar.
There are many different ways to apply Pay Rates in Assignar. Below we explore how to add pay rate groups and the different modules you can create them in.
Setting Up Pay Rate Group
The first step to creating a pay rate group, is setting up your timesheet codes. These codes are typically kept in your accounting softwrae.
To get started you need to set up your different pay rate codes. To do this go to Timesheets & Dockets > Timesheet Codes
Click Add Rate
Add in the code and the label. i.e. Code - 01, Label - Base Rate
Click Save, repeat this step with all your codes

The next step will be to add the Pay Rate Group under the different modules, we have outlined how to do this below per module
Add User Pay Rate Group
Go to Users > Fieldworkers > Find Users > Edit
Select Pay Rates
Click Add New Rate Group
Add in the Label of the rate group i.e. Level 1 Weekday Rate
Add the Priority number in. The priority number is what order the pay rate group shows up when you apply pay rates to a user's timesheet. If you want it to appear first add 1.
Click Add Item to put in the first pay rule. You must select a code, description, units (hours worked) and rate. i.e. Base Rate is 8 hours so you select Code - Base Rate, Descirption - Normal Time, Units - 8 and Rate - $28.75 (this is the hourly rate of pay)
Repeat this step as many times as applicable
If you are adding allowances, tick the Inc box so these are always added to every timesheet.
Add Task Pay Rate Group
Go to Task > Select [Task Name] > Edit
Select Pay Rates
Click Add New Rate Group
Add in the Label of the rate group i.e. Level 1 Weekday Rate

How To Edit Pay Rate Groups
From time to time you could have changes in your pay rate groups. Here is how you make edits to the pay rate groups in Assignar.
Go to Pay Rates in the module you want to make the edit in.
Find the rate group you would like to make changes to
Click on the context menu on the right (The 3 dots)
Click Edit
Make changes to either the codes, description, rate or units. Or add/remove an item
Once you've finished making changes click Save.
