Ensuring that your data is accurate is key, and one of the best ways to do this is to get your team in the field to check in or out, and submit forms at the right time.

When users submit forms or add timesheets late, this leads to less accurate

information.

We send the following reminders to fieldworkers, to make sure they add the data you need in a timely manner:

Check in reminder

  • This is sent 5 mins prior to a shift starting

  • The FW must have confirmed the shift in order to receive the notification

Check out reminder

  • This is sent 5 mins prior to a shift ending

  • The FW must have confirmed the shift in order to receive the notification

Required form reminder

  • This is sent at the halfway point of a shift

  • The FW must have confirmed the shift in order to receive the notification

  • The FW must have checked in to the shift in order to receive the notification

  • The shift must have a minimum of 1 required form in order for this notification to be sent

  • The form(s) must be incomplete - the notification will not be sent if the forms have been completed

How to set up the notifications

These reminders will only be sent if the "Enable check in/out in allocations" setting is set to “Yes”. This will be the default setting.

You will also need to ensure that the following settings have the correct value, depending on which reminders you would like sent to fieldworkers:

  1. The "Enable notifications for allocation checkin / checkout" setting can be used to turn on/off the check in and check out reminders. Set this to "Yes" to send the reminders.

  2. The "Enable notifications for required forms" setting can be used to turn on/off the required form reminder. Set this to "Yes" to send the reminders.
