The Settings module allows you to define key settings for your Dashboard.

NB. Not all Dashboard users will have access to this function. This is defined in the User Access tab of the Dashboard User details screen.

  1. Click Settings > View/Edit Settings to see your settings options.
  2. Hover your mouse over the question mark icon next to any setting to see a description of what it does.

General Settings 

  • Create a template for declined allocation notification email, this is for when a worker declines an allocation. 
  • Allocation email address: Enter the email address where automated notifications are sent if a fieldworker declines an allocation.
  • HR email address: Enter the ‘from’ email address for emails sent from Dashboard. This email also receives the notifications about FieldWorker profile updates.
  • Email Logo: Upload the company logo. This will be added to any emails sent via the dashboard. 
  • Allow for Journal Entries to be edited and deleted or locked upon submission. This means that Journal Entries can be edited/changed or they stay static. 
  • If you change any of the settings, a Save button will appear. Click Save next to each updated setting to make your changes stick.
  • Map Region - Choose which country you want your google maps to be set to. 

Fieldworker App Settings

  • Enable check in/out in allocations: Select whether workers can check in/out before/after each shift in the Fieldworker app. (Yes/No)
  • Default break time for timesheets:  Enter a default break time for Fieldworker app timesheets (numeric value in minutes).
  • Show allowances on mobile: Select whether the Allowances section is visible in Fieldworker app timesheets. (Yes/No)
  • Show break time when checking out: Select whether break time is visible in the Fieldworker app when checking out (only applicable if check in/out is enabled (Yes/No)
  • Show team member phone number and email address: Select whether phone number and email address are displayed in Fieldworker app allocations for other workers allocated to the same job. (Yes/No)
  • Hide Add Button on Mobile Timesheets: This allows for workers to only submit timesheets through the allocations module in the app. 
  • Mobile timesheets editable until approved: Select whether fieldworkers are allowed to edit timesheets until they are approved. (Yes/No)
  • Require Timesheet Signature: Select whether workers need to provide a signature with timesheets in the Fieldworker app. (Yes/No)
  • If you change any of the settings, a Save button will appear. Click Save next to each updated setting to make your changes stick.

Order Settings 

  • Default order status: Select the default status for newly created orders in Dashboard. (new/pending/confirmed/declined/invoiced). This status will be applied when creating orders via orders or the resources timeline.
  • Order resource timeline default view: Select the default view for the Order Resources Timeline. (Assets/Workers)
  • Create an order summary email template: When you send out an email notification of the order to be emailed with the same template every time.
  • Default start and time for order tasks: Each time a task is added, this time will be be the default allocation time. 
  • If you change any of the settings, a Save button will appear. Click Save next to each updated setting to make your changes stick.

Timesheets Settings 

  • Approve timesheets before export: Select whether timesheets must be approved before exported to payroll. (Yes/No)
  • Lock timesheets after export: Select whether timesheets are locked after they are exported by payroll. (Yes/No)
  • If you change any of the settings, a Save button will appear. Click Save next to each updated setting to make your changes stick.

SMS Settings 

  • SMS Email Address: set an email address to be notified of any incoming messages to the dashboard.
